Darnell Clemons has been sentenced to life for forcible rape and 15 years for kidnapping. The sentences will run consecutively.
On Nov. 11, 2011, the defendant raped the victim after forcing her to get off a bus and threatening her with what appeared to be a gun in the Mark Twain neighborhood.
On Dec. 4, 2013, a St. Louis jury found Clemons guilty of forcible rape and kidnapping. ACA Szczucinski prosecuted the case.
On Jan. 16, St. Louis Circuit Court Judge Thomas Frawley sentenced Clemons to life for forcible rape and 15 years for kidnapping, to be run consecutively.
