Quincy Sistrunk has been sentenced to four years for first-degree tampering.
On Aug. 16, 2012, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Aviation Unit spotted a black Dodge Ram that had been reported stolen about an hour earlier from the Central West End. The police followed the truck into Illinois. When the truck stopped, Sistrunk was observed getting out of the vehicle. The police discovered that the ignition switch had been punched. A screwdriver and gloves were found inside the truck.
On Dec. 10, 2013, a St. Louis jury convicted Sistrunk of first-degree tampering. Today, St. Louis Circuit Court Judge Elizabeth Byrne Hogan sentenced Sistrunk to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
