ST. LOUIS, MO  (September 3, 2026) — Jimmy McFan Jr., 44, was found guilty Thursday by a St. Louis jury of first-degree statutory rape, forcible rape, first-degree statutory sodomy, deviate sexual assault, first-degree rape and second-degree statutory rape.

McFan sexually abused two female victims in separate incidents. Between 1998 and 2003, McFan had sexual intercourse with the first victim when she was under 12 years old. He also sexually assaulted her through digital penetration while she was under 14. In March 2020, McFan had sexual intercourse with the second victim when she was under 17 years old.

“These women carried what happened to them for years, and their willingness to come forward and testify allowed this case to be presented to a jury. This verdict reflects the strength of their testimony and the work of our prosecutors in bringing this case to trial,” said Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore.

The jury found McFan to be a predatory sex offender for his crimes against multiple victims. He is also a prior and persistent offender with two previous felony convictions for possession of a controlled substance. He was also on probation for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon when this case was charged. His sentencing is scheduled for November 16, 2026.

Assistant Circuit Attorney Rondalyn McDonald-Harris, Special Victims Unit Supervisor Kayla Womble, and Assistant Circuit Attorney Sydney Gaughan prosecuted the case.
