Spectrum News – Three years after inheriting a backlog of 6,700 cases that went unreviewed during his predecessor's time in office, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore says he's making significant progress toward rebuilding public trust.

"Our vision for the circuit attorney's office for the City of St. Louis is that we be one of the highest performing prosecuting attorneys in the country," Gore said.

In an annual update Thursday, Gore highlighted community outreach efforts and improved office efficiency, despite a shortage of attorneys. The office employs 49 trial attorneys, with room in the budget for 57.
