New Report From State Auditor Supports Claims That Circuit Attorney’s Office Was ‘neglected and Mismanaged’ Under Kim Gardner

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A new report released today by State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick details how the Circuit Attorney’s Office under Kim Gardner saw a significant decline in efficiency and effectiveness during her tenure, highlighting multiple examples of neglect and mismanagement by the former circuit attorney.


According to a release from Auditor Fitzpatrick, the report backs claims that Gardner was ‘the captain of a rudderless ship’, as previously stated by a judge.
