ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - It’s been one year since Gabe Gore took over for Kim Gardner as the Circuit Attorney of St. Louis.


During Gardner’s tenure, prosecutors were leaving at an alarming rate; there was a backlog of cases, and crime reached historic levels. During her six years as the top prosecutor for St. Louis City, the homicide rate was the highest ever, averaging more than 200 homicides per year.
