Man Takes Plea Deal in Fatal Shooting of His Ex-girlfriend, Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man was sentenced to 20 years in prison after he admitted to killing his ex-girlfriend in 2024.


Julius Massey was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and armed criminal action. The charges stem from the fatal shooting of 48-year-old Payton Winston.
