Man convicted in 2023 Wells-Goodfellow homicide

First Alert 4– A jury convicted a man Thursday of involuntary manslaughter and related crimes in the 2023 shooting death of a woman in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood.
A St. Louis jury found 48-year-old Mario Lee guilty of involuntary manslaughter, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The shooting happened on Dec. 21, 2023, in the 5800 block of Kennerly Avenue. Candace Horskins, 34, was killed in the shooting.
