Fox 2 News – A man has been sentenced to life in prison for a targeted murder in north St. Louis that was captured on Facebook Live in 2024.

On Tuesday, a judge sentenced Terron Young, 34, to life in prison without parole, plus 15 years.

Young was convicted of first-degree murder and other felony charges in January over the death of Anthony Jefferson, 32, a local emcee and musician.

According to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office, on February 2, 2024, Jefferson hosted an event at a venue in the 4700 block of Martin Luther King Drive. While outside, Jefferson was streaming live on Facebook.
