St. Louis Magazine– The long arm of the law caught up today with a St. Louis man who was previously able to skate on murder charges due to the chaos under Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.

Charl "Priest" Howard saw murder charges dropped by Gardner's office in 2023 after such extensive postponements and delays by prosecutors that he became a symbol of the office's dysfunction. Two years later, Howard brutally attacked another person and bragged about the attack in a video he posted to social media. 

This time, however, he was found guilty by prosecutors working for Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore.
