Fox 2 News– A St. Louis man has been sentenced after a Washington University student from India and rising star in the dance community was fatally shot in February 2024.

On Thursday, a judge sentenced Glen L. Bailey, 48, to 15 years in prison in connection with the death of Amarnath Ghosh.

Ghosh was shot multiple times on Feb. 27, 2024 in the 5100 block of Delmar Boulevard near Clarendon Avenue. It was in St. Louis' Academy neighborhood, less than a mile from where Ghosh lived.

According to a St. Louis Circuit Court news release, Bailey told police he was driving a vehicle that was seen in surveillance video following Ghosh the night of the shooting. Bailey parked the vehicle on Delmar.
