April 30, 2025

ST. LOUIS, MO (April, 30, 2025) — Nabori Ruhihose, 61, was found guilty by a jury on Wednesday for attempted child molestation, first-degree statutory sodomy, and second-degree sexual misconduct at a home in the city’s Bevo Mill neighborhood.

The charges stem from crimes that occurred between March 9, 2016, and September 12, 2022. During that time, Ruhihose inappropriately touched four young girls between the ages of 8 and 16, and performed a sexual act on one of them.

Ruhihose’s sentencing is scheduled for May 1, 2025.

Assistant Circuit Attorneys Carolyn Chkautovich, Sherry Wolk, and Sydney Beecher prosecuted the case.

“These crimes inflicted profound trauma on the victims and caused damage that will last a lifetime. The jury verdict reflects the severity of these offenses and ensures that this defendant is held accountable for the harm he caused,” said St. Louis Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore.

Ruhihose’s case number is 2422-CR03182.
