Man Sentenced to 16 Years for Shooting That Left Woman Paralyzed

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man was sentenced Thursday to 16 years in prison for an April 2024 shooting that left a woman paralyzed.


Larry Buchanan, 42, was sentenced to 16 years following a first-degree assault conviction.


According to St. Louis City Prosecutors, on April 13, 2024, Buchanan shot a 32-year-old woman in the back outside of a gas station in the 4300 block of South Broadway.
