May 12, 2025

ST. LOUIS, MO  (May, 12, 2025) — Nabori Ruhihose, 61, was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Monday, after being found guilty of first-degree statutory sodomy, second-degree sexual misconduct, and attempted child molestation, which took place between January 1, 2012, and September 12, 2022, at a residence in the Bevo Mill neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri.

The charges involved Ruhihose inappropriately touching four young girls between the ages of 8 and 16, and performing a sexual act on one of the victims.

Assistant Circuit Attorneys Carolyn Chkautovich, Sherry Wolk, and Sydney Beecher prosecuted the case.

"This sentence delivers a clear message: those who prey on children will be held accountable," said St. Louis Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore. "The victims in this case showed tremendous courage in coming forward. We will continue to fight for them and for every child in our community to ensure predators face the full weight of the law."

Ruhihose’s case number is 2422-CR03182.
