ST. LOUIS, MO (March 14, 2025) —Corey Bauer, 29, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree assault and armed criminal action for a shooting on June 30, 2022, at 721 North Tucker in downtown St. Louis, formerly a Shell Gas Station.

Bauer is currently serving a six-year sentence for multiple crimes committed in Illinois. His Missouri sentence will run concurrently with his Illinois sentence.

Assistant Circuit Attorneys Grant Simon and Andrew Costello prosecuted the case.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Gabe Gore stated, "This incident reflects the serious consequences that occur when a minor car accident unnecessarily escalates into gun violence. Our office will prosecute gun violence to the fullest extent of the law.”

Bauer's case number is 2222-CR01020-01.
